    used Starrett No. 79B-8, "Yankee" spring-type, outside 8" caliper.
    It works great and is the fast adjusting,
    quick spring nut type
    with flat legs.  It opens to measure the full 8" range.  This caliper is in good shape with just a few scratches on it.  There are no owner engravings on it.  These run .00 new from Starrett today.
